ATLANTIS FOUND AN ICELANDIC BAND

Walter Mitty film takes a travelling movie to another level.  The Dirty Paws accentuates the scene and some trailers. I have watched the movie more than once. As many would do, people have started to explore music through YouTube. I watched some clips from Walter Mitty and its Dirty Paws again. I am still in awe. I surfed more into finding several songs from Of Monsters and Men, and I thought the entire songs from the My Head is An Animal is excellent to listen. My friend and I both agreed that this is such a great album to take on a road trip. Here I am writing my first English article talking on such pleasing sounds of Monsters and Men.
Let's travel far to the glistening morning light of Reykjavik as we are cruising through Iceland's road to get into its dreamy waterfalls. Just wonderful. Yes, the band is Iceland-origin. The group founded in 2009. The first lineup consisted singer/guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson, guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, keyboardist Árni Guðjónsson, bass player Kristján Páll Kristjánsson, and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson. Of Monsters and Men is a folk band. Music that stylishly tells stories. Their first album is My Head is An Animal released in 2011. Nanna used to play in a solo act called Songbird. Then she found a guitar player, her high school's friend, Brynjar. Then they added more guys to perform as a band in Musiktilraunir. Musiktilraunir is an annual music competition in Iceland since 1982. The music is wide ranging from pop to death metal, for example, the 1991's winner is a death-metal band, Sororicide. In 1992, the winner starkly differed to the predecessor, indie-pop band, Kolrassa Krókríðandi. Of Monsters and Men won the contest in 2010. They became an instant hit after broadcasted nationally. Not many Icelandic bands got recognised world-wide currently. The writer thinks that Of Monsters and Men uses shouting voices of "la la la", that makes them unique. Alligator sounds more pop-rock rather than many chilling sounds of folk bands. Here are my top 5 most favourite songs from OMAM.
